The Health Service Executive (HSE) is delighted to host a Parents Connect event on Tuesday, October 17 next in Tuam, Co Galway.
Parents Connect welcomes expectant parents and parents caring for a child/ren 0-3 years to join them for a coffee in the Ard Rí House Hotel, Tuam from 9.30am – 12.00pm.
The event affords participants an opportunity to connect with other parents and get some tips on keeping themselves well.
There will be a conversation style approach to the event encouraging and generating essential questions.
It will also feature an expert panel, including a women’s health physiotherapist and a psychologist with special interest in women’s health and a wide range of services, providing information about resources in the community.
Through their combined expertise, they will provide advice and support on the various discussed topics such as 4th trimester, fitness and post-partum, sleep patterns, body and lifestyle changes associated with childbirth and parenting.
Women, men and young people of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to participate and benefit from this informative and supportive initiative.
