By 7th September 2023No Comments

HUGG, the national suicide bereavement charity, provides free dedicated suicide bereavement support groups nationwide, including an online Young Adults Support Group for 18 to 25 year olds.

HUGG Bereavement Support Groups are conducted both in-person and online and offer a free, non-judgmental, and safe space where adults bereaved by suicide can share their experiences and feelings and receive and offer support to each other.

All HUGG support groups are led by trained volunteers with lived experience of suicide bereavement.

HUGG Young Adults Support Group (18 to 25 years) takes place over Zoom monthly on Tuesdays from 8pm to 9.30pm and is led by trained young adult volunteers with lived experience of suicide bereavement.

This group is open to any young adults who have experienced suicide loss regardless of when that loss was, or who they lost, whether it be a friend, family member, cousin, member of their community, or other.

Anyone seeking to join HUGG Young Adults Group can simply complete an online form at www.hugg.ie or call 01 513 4048 (monitored answering machine).

A member of the HUGG team will be in touch with them to answer any questions.
