Mental Health Ireland has exciting plans for World Mental Health Month

By 29th August 2023No Comments

October is World Mental Health Month (WMHM) and Mental Health Ireland is supporting the awareness campaign with its own dedicated website which has just gone live.

Top features on the site include an interactive map showing what events are happening around the country for WMHM. You can register any relative events you might be hosting – no matter how big or small – on the website; access free downloadable resources; get everything you need to fundraise; find out where and how to order WMHM merch and much more.

You can check out the website here: https://worldmentalhealthmonth-mhi.ie/

But the main WMHM offering from Mental Health Ireland will be the facilitation of online Connect Café sessions.

A total of 10 x 30 minutes Connect Café sessions will be delivered throughout the month of September by Mental Health Ireland’s Development Officers.

These sessions will provide organisations and communities with some practical guidance and support on how to run their own Connect Cafe for WMHM and where to go for online resources.

You can register for an information session if you like here: World Mental Health Month -Connect Café – Information Session Tickets, Multiple Dates | Eventbrite
