FREE online training programme on Hello How R U? campaign

By 13th February 2023No Comments

A FREE online training programme around the Hello How R U campaign and the hosting of associated events will be facilitated by Mental Health Ireland’s Development Officer for Mayo and Roscommon on Wednesday, February 15 next.

Hello, How Are You? is a campaign about connection and engaging in open conversations about mental health.

The campaign asks individuals, communities, workplaces, friends & family to say Hello and ask the question ‘How Are You?’ in a meaningful way. Asking this small question and having one conversation can make a real difference in someone’s life.

Creating, maintaining and staying connected with others helps tackle loneliness, creates a sense of belonging and purpose and builds relationships.

Last year’s campaign enjoyed huge engagement and support from Family Resource Centres, Libraries and ATU across both Mayo & Roscommon and beyond. This year’s campaign, which runs on March 30 aims to build on that, reaching into even more groups, organisations, schools etc throughout the week.

Thursday’s FREE online workshop will give information about how you can access free resources to support your own event and build your confidence using the HELLO framework to have a conversation.  No event is too big or too small.

To book a place on the training workshop please email teresakeane@mentalhealthireland.ie Places are limited.
