Mayo GAA Health & Wellbeing Committee has confirmed that it will be delivering safeTALK Suicide Prevention training at Hastings McHale Park in Castlebar on March 23 next.
The committee is urging local GAA clubs to consider appointing a representative to take part in this private group training that will run from 6-10pm.
safeTALK Suicide Prevention Training is a FREE 3 ½ hours workshop which can help the general public learn and practice powerful, life-saving skills.
Using simple yet effective skills, individuals who complete the course can be empowered to make a difference and potentially save a life from suicide.
