safeTALK is an internationally recognised half-day training programme that prepares participants to recognise and engage with people who may be having thoughts of suicide and to connect them to suicide first aid resources..

This training will be run in Castlebar, Co Mayo on Thursday, February 23 next from 10am to 1.30pm in The Ellison Hotel on Lannagh Road.

It is suitable for everyone including first responders, community workers, clergy, volunteers, teachers and people responding to family and friends.

Participants will get to learn four basic steps to recognise when people have thoughts of suicide and to connect them to suicide first aid resources.
