Suicide Or Survive to run its unique Supporters Programme later this month.

By 12th September 2022No Comments

Suicide or Survive will be running its Supporters Programme over two days later this month.

A registered charity dedicated to challenging the stigma that surrounds vulnerability and struggle and promoting the message that suicide prevention is for all of us to tackle and all of us to own, Suicide or Survive is seeking applications for its Supporters Programme.

Geared at people supporting family members, friends, neighbours, work colleagues, people in their community and others who are struggling with their mental health, the Supporters Programme is the first of its kind in Ireland.

It teaches supporters practical skills they can use to support others, it gives information on what supports are available and how they can be accessed and teaches practical ways of looking after your own mental health.

It will be delivered online from 10am to 2pm over 2 days – Saturdays the 17th and 24th.

There is no cost to attend however people must be supporting someone in a personal capacity and not a professional capacity.
