By 12th September 2022No Comments

See Change, Ireland’s national programme dedicated to ending mental health stigma and discrimination, is proud to announce that it is partnering with the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) to stage a ‘Feelings of Shame’ event this week as part of its Green Ribbon campaign.

The Green Ribbon campaign is a month-long initiative that aims to get as many people as possible talking about mental health to help end stigma and discrimination.

The theme for Green Ribbon 2022 is shame and the key message this year is that there is no shame in having a mental health difficulty.

Week three of the campaign is now underway and this week’s theme is “What Shame Feels Like”.

The “Feelings of Shame” Green Ribbon will be hosted online via the Zoom platform tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13 from 10-11am.

It will be hosted by Lorraine Nolan, Chief Executive, HPRA and guest speakers will include:

  • Donal O’Connor, HPRA
  • Paula Lawlor, SOS CEO
  • Linda Garvin, See Change Ambassador
