Helium Arts are delighted to be opening a new Creative Health Programme in Castlebar and Galway.
As a part of this new programme, a free three day summer camp will be run at Le Cheile Family Resource Centre in Castlebar from July 5-7. 
The classes will run as follows: Ages 6-8 – 10.30am to 11.30am and ages 9-12 from 2pm-4pm.
The Galway camps will be staged in the Westside Community Resource Centre from Tuesday, July 26 to Thursday, July 28 with 6-8 year olds welcome from 10.30am to 11.30am and 9-12 year olds from 2-4pm
These camps are for ages 6-12, and are for children with complex medical needs.
The camps are geared around helping the participating children and young people to discover life beyond the diagnosis and give them a chance to shine.
Participants are encouraged to be themselves and have fun, meet new people and make new friends and make new skills in painting, crafting, filmmaking and more.
The workshops are free of charge, delivered by professional artists, inclusive and accessible, overseen by paramedics and supported by volunteers.
