By 7th April 2022No Comments

If you are or know of a parent who is concerned about an adolescent that may be self harming then you won’t want to miss this webinar on Tuesday, April 26 at 7.00pm.

Coordinated by Professor Eilis Hennessy of the School of Psychology at UCD, this webinar will cover the findings of a recent collaborative project between UCD and Pieta.

Funded by the National Office of Suicide Prevention, this research explored the information needs of parents by consulting parents with experience supporting adolescents engaged in self-harm and professionals who have worked with adolescents engaged in self-harm and their families.

The event will also discuss the most important information that parents need to know about adolescent self-harm.

The webinar is suitable for parents, guardians and teachers.
