Event: Understanding what exclusion feels like

Event: Understanding what exclusion feels like

As part of its 9th annual Green Ribbon campaign, See Change – Ireland’s national organisation dedicated to ending mental health stigma and discrimination, is hosting a series of online panel discussions throughout September focusing on the theme of social exclusion and mental health difficulties.

The next event will focus on what exclusion feels like for people from minority groups, people with mental health difficulties and people who have been diagnosed with a mental illness.

It will look at what impact exclusion can have on a person’s mental health and provide examples of how we can be more inclusive.

This discussion will take place on Wednesday, September 15 from 2-3pm.

It will be hosted by Barbara Brennan, See Change’s programmes team leader.

The participating panellists will include:

  • Adam Harris, Founder and CEO of AsIAm, Ireland’s National Autism Charity
  • Caroline McGrotty, Employment Manager at AHEAD
  • Daniela Ferro, See Change Ambassador
