Suicide Bereavement UK to host 10th international conference
Suicide Bereavement UK will host its 10th annual international conference in Manchester on September 23 next.
The 2020 conference took place online in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and was attended by 740 attendees from 20 countries across 4 continents.
This year’s face to face conference is called Suicide Bereavement: 10 Years of Our Collective Voice and will feature some 14 guest speakers and a series of workshops scheduled for allocated times.
This event is suitable for any professionals who come into contact with those bereaved or affected by suicide and those in a position to influence policy and practice.
More than a traditional conference, this event has helped to establish an international supportive community that is proactive, welcoming and supportive.
Attendees learn from each other, network and – equally important – make friends, re-charge their batteries and remind themselves why they work in this often difficult and challenging field.
The event will be held in the Mercure Manchester City Hotel on September 23 next and registration costs £140 plus booking fee and VAT.
