Free public webinar explores the personality
My Mind – a blended model of mental health care – will host a fascinating free public webinar about personality on Thursday, July 8 next at 11am.
Each one of us has our own unique personality — the habitual way we are in the world.
Our personality is an adaptation to our family of origin and to the broader social context in which we find ourselves.
As we develop, we encounter difficult experiences which inevitably impact us. These experiences can leave traces in our minds and bodies that we now recognise as trauma.
Thursday’s free Exploring Personality webinar will examine what we know about personality, its origins, how trauma can impact our personality, and examine pathways to personal growth and maturity.
MyMind has been offering mental health counselling services, both face-to-face and online, since it was set up in 2006.
Its mission is to provide affordable and accessible counselling to anyone who needs it courtesy of a multicultural and multilingual team of over 110 therapists offering a variety of therapeutic approaches in 15 languages.
MyMind currently provides free online counselling services to people who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic whether it’s through bereavement, job loss, increased anxiety or depression, or addiction.
Support is provided by a team of qualified mental health professionals, and all sessions are held in strict confidence through MyMind’s own online platform.
The webinar on personality takes place at 11am this Thursday, July 8.
There will be a Q&A session after the presentation and attendees are encouraged to submit their questions.
Attendees will need MS Teams to access the event.
